This program addressing very complex and sensible issues connected with sexual violence. Sexual violence in Macedonian society is still invisible social problem, but it is also very hard violation of human rights. What we are trying to do in Shelter Centre is to bring out sexual violence and show its reality and its impact on the life of every human being, but especially on the most vulnerable group, women.

The program of sexual violence has research, awareness raising and educational character. This program began in December 2004 when we started with implementation of the research program for the presents of sexual violence among young people on the age on 14-19, in the few high schools in Macedonia. After identification of this problem we started to work on awareness raising, preventing and educational projects toward the problem of sexual violence.
