Macedonian Woman's Rights Center - Shelter Center is
non-governmental, non-politic and non-profitable,
advocacy and lobbying women's organization, established on 5th of
February 2001, and works for affirmation, implemen- tation and
protection of women's rights.
Threw direct work with victims, Macedonian Women Rights
Center - Shelter Center apart from offering the existing services,
also tries to extend the activities' framework and thus to provide
better protection of our target
group.
From May 6 to 8, 2010, our donor - the Swedish Foundation Kvinna till Kvinna organized the conference "Reaching out
to make a change" in Montenegro for 150 representatives from women's organizationsfrom all over the Western
Balkans. Women from the Middle East, Southern Caucasus and Liberia were also invited to take part in the meeting.

Women's Rights Centre - Shelter Centre in cooperation with UNIFEM
office in Skopje, held a
training on protection of the victims of
domestic violence. The training referred to the issue of providing free
legal aid by the NGO-s to the
above mentioned vulnerable group of women.
Aseminar onfundraising was held in organization of the Swedish foundation Kvinna
Till Kvinna and CIRa (Center for Institutional Development) from Skopje,
from 14 to 18 March 2010 in Kotor, Republic of Montenegro .
Within the project "Monitoring of the court proceedings" financially
supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Federal Republic of Germany, towards
its activity implementation, MWRC - Shelter Center has issued the publication "Monitoring of the court proceedings".
